Collin's birthday was last week so we had a small family party for him, on his very special day. I made his favorite dinner, spaghetti.
After dinner, it was time for cake. Yummy!!! This is good practice for his big birthday party next weekend!
Happy birthday baby Collin!! I've been working on decorations for his birthday party, which we are having in our back yard. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate! The theme is "The Hungry Little Caterpillar" so I made the invitations using green and red circles. The banner says "Happy Birthday Collin". The letters are on green circles, making up the caterpillar's body. The very last pennant, after Collin's name, has the red circle head of the caterpillar. I'm not sure if I'm going to attach it with string/ribbon or brads. Here is a picture of part of the pennant and the invitation.
On Wednesday, we have Collin's 1 Year Old photo shoot. I've been working on some props for that also. I bought paper mache letters to spell out ONE. I wasn't sure if the big or small letters would be best so I bought both of them. I painted the smaller letters white and the larger letters red, blue and yellow. We will take pictures of him holding one letter at a time and when three pictures are put together, it will spell ONE.
Grandma Snaps
This grandma definitely snaps! I love to take photos of my grandson and honorary grandchildren. I love to display the photos in the 12x12 scrapbook albums and mini-albums that I make.

Finally...
After hours of working on this, I finally have my blog started. I know, you're looking at this and wondering how I possibly spent hours on it but, sadly it is true. Maybe I will get the hang of blog designing. One can only hope.
The purpose of this blog is to share some of my scrapbooking ideas and projects as well as just document my life.
